Benarkah IP 209.85.175.105 adalah google.co.id?

Sebenernya postingan ini ditujukan kepada panitia penyelenggara kontes Century 21 Broker Properti Jual Beli Sewa Rumah Indonesia, jadi mohon maaf untuk para pembaca blog kang Rohman yang kurang berkenan. Kang Rohman sendiri 3 hari yang lalu telah mengirimkan pesan melalui email kepada panitia penyelenggara, namun sampai saat ini belum ada tanggapan, oleh karenanya dengan adanya postingan ini mudah-mudahan meraka dapat menjawab untuk menghilangkan keragu-raguan yang ada.

Dalam peraturan kontes SEO yang bisa di baca pada alamat berikut :

Pada point pertama tertera:

•  Target posisi tertinggi hanya di www.google.co.id  ( IP 209.85.175.105 )

Jelas ditulis bahwa juri yang digunakan adalah www.google.co.id , namun tertulis juga IP 209.85.175.105. Lalu, apakah IP 209.85.175.105 memang benar-benar www.google.co.id. Kang Rohman sendiri meragukan hal ini dengan beberapa alasan.

Para peserta lomba, coba anda bandingkan hasil perangkingan antara 209.85.175.105, google.com, serta google.co.id !

Berikut adalah hasil perbandingan dari komputer kang rohman:

# Search Result  dengan menggunakan www.google.com

Nah lho, ternyata hasil pencarian menggunakan IP 209.85.175.105 ternyata sama dengan hasil pencarian www.google.com dan sangat berbeda dengan hasil pencarian www.google.co.id.

Kang Rohman sendiri bukan mau memperkeruh suasana, justru untuk meluruskan antara pemahaman pihak penyelenggara dengan para peserta kontes, jangan sampai di akhir ada pihak-pihak yang tidak puas karena masalah seperti ini.

Kejadian kurang menyenangkan seperti ini pun pernah terjadi pada kontes SEO yang lain, Putra perdhana merasa kecewa karena akibat perbedaan pemahaman dengan masalah IP address yang digunakan pihak penyelenggara, silahkan baca disini:

Kalau kami memakai patokan google.co.id maka mungkin saja akan terjadi perbedaan urutan antara urutan yang dilihat di komputer panitia di Jakarta dan urutan pemenang di komputer peserta yang berbeda lokasinya. Hal ini mungkin karena google menggunakan teknologi server Clustering yang cukup kompleks. Jadi memang posisi server yang sebenarnya agak susah di deteksi.

Maka untuk supaya lebih jelasnya dan lebih tegas di peraturannya, kami akan sedikit merevisi peraturan No 1 menjadi :· Target posisi tertinggi di google.co.id. Hasil urutan pemenang berdasarkan google.co.id yang ada di komputer panitia. Keputusan urutan pemenang tidak dapat diganggu gugat.
